Divya Aakruti is the physical manifestation of a secret desire long held since my childhood. As I grew up, I have been very aware of the fact that to bring about any change in the outside world, one must first seek to change one’s inner world. For a very long time, I held everyone in my life responsible for my failures, my heartaches, my setbacks, in short for all that went wrong in my life. Everyone except the one person who is truly responsible, Me.
I decided to change all of that by taking charge of my own life. My first decision was to walk out of a relationship which was doing nothing to help me evolve as a human being, leave alone love, except cause me pain. The second decision was to resign from the banking industry, a job which offered me a luxurious lifestyle but failed to make me happy. The third decision was to live, to give myself the single opportunity to discover the beauty of this journey called Life. It might help to add here that each decision of mine was met with resistance from all those people very dear to me, my family, friends, relatives and general well-wishers. The fourth and most important was living out my passion, painting.
And life did transform! What had been a mundane, monotonous existence with no growth, no evolution in sight had suddenly now been transformed into a beautiful, miraculous journey. I was finally LIVING .
Today I understand that no event, no incident in life, however small is accidental or coincidental but planned out beautifully by us, the creators of our destiny. Thus I chose my life path which is also my reason for existence ,to paint and heal through my artwork. To touch people's lives with love, light, wisdom, peace and joy through my colours.
This beautiful journey has taught me so much but the most important of all is that at every point of time, in every situation ,in every relationship, I simply need to be honest with myself. I simply need to be in touch with my Highest truth and act accordingly. I don’t mean here to be selfish but to simply be self-aware. This journey has given me the ability to accept every person, every situation, the “good” as well as the “bad” with gratitude, simply because I understand now that one can never be better than the other ,each simply is and it is only because of the “bad”, I can appreciate and value the “good”.
Every person has the right to live life the way they want to, I respect and honor this decision and am not here to change anything. But I do know that I have created my life and my destiny the way I have always wanted it to be. The way God would always have wanted me to. I am my own God just as each one of us on earth is Him too. I do understand that the greatest power that has been granted to us humans by the universe is the power of freewill, of choice. In every situation we have a choice .The choice to fear or the choice to love. The choice to avenge or the choice to forgive. The choice to restrict or the choice to liberate. And each choice will make our destiny, it will rewrite the story of our lives.
And Man will create his destiny, just as God created Man!
Always has been. Always will be.
